Little People’s Creative Workshop began in 1991 with classes in seven daycare centers in Eastern North Carolina. Today, we are in almost every daycare center in North Carolina and many other states, as well. Under the direction of our Founder and Executive Director Daune Pitman, we’ve earned a reputation for providing the highest quality instruction for children and have received and been nominated for awards and recognitions.
Daune has taught dance and theatre arts for almost 20 years, and one of her greatest joys is teaching young children. Her rich background includes a BFA Degree in Dance, a BS Degree in Dance Education and many appearances as principal dancer and soloist. She currently dances with her husband, is editor of a nationally syndicated newsletter about teaching dance and theater to young children, and has authored books about teaching dance to little ones.
Daune will be welcoming new members into the Little People’s Creative Workshop franchise family who will share LPCW’s goal: to help each student experience the joy of theatre and dance – to feel good about him/herself, and to gain confidence in his/her creative abilities. If you are accepted as an LPCW franchisee, you’ll find, in our business system, everything you need to operate your franchise.
