Frauenshuh Company Becomes Midwest's Biggest Dairy Queen owner
(March 26, 2008) A cluster of Dairy Queen franchises throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa have changed ownership. Albert Lea-based Kraus Foods Midwest, which owned 33 Dairy Queen restaurants, sold them to Fourteen Foods, a company run by the Frauenshuh family, for an undisclosed amount, the Pioneer Press reported.
