Meet Beadniks founder, leader, and world traveler, Sally Roesler
 Sally Roesler grew up in New Jersey . A restless and adventurous soul, she didn't stay put for long. After graduating from the University of Texas with her degree in costume design, Sally headed to the bright lights of Broadway, stitching for some of the best costume designers in the business. Next on Sally's life itinerary was Nepal , where she began an adventure that could fill two lifetimes.
Sally spent the next three years studying gemology from some of the most revered gemologists in Asia . She traveled  between Bangkok , Katmandu , and the United States , collecting beads, designing jewelry, and pursuing local artisans in the hills, jungles, and deserts.
Sally started a wholesale bead catalog in 1989. Ten months later she opened Beadniks and began the pursuit of a personal dream—to create a bead store like no other.
